Kim Deal and Kelley Deal are 50 today. I wasn't a massive fan of either the Pixies or the Breeders, favouring bands like Carter USM and They Might Be Giants instead, but I was still well aware of their work and hearing the news about their half-centenary just makes me feel, well, old and dignified myself. (I am not there yet. More than a handful of years to go).
