I'm Paul, from Essex.
Been blogging sporadically since 1999 on various topics - mostly music but I love travel and football (don't let this put you off but I may occasionally mention my beloved West Ham). I occasionally had blog dedicated to one subject or another (including the old long-running Mr Red Penguin's MP3 Heaven) but I started this blog again when I realised that after 12 years of writing stuff I didn't really have a proper home on the net.
I chose the name as I was off to see the wonderful British Sea Power on the day I set it up, so any posts with a date older than 14 May 2011 are from stuff I've written for other blogs in the past.
