I originally wrote the singles list in December 2001, but I didn’t list the albums so I did this in December 2009.
I think I would still put the Avalanches as the top single. On the rare occasion that I come across the video it still captures my attention.
You will see I had a bit of a rock fixation in the early 00s where my preference today is a bit more quirky. I mean, Sum 41 at number 3!! It’s alright but it’s no number 3. And Nickelback? I remember playing this to death at the time, and thinking how original it was, but luckily the doctors found the problem and managed to remove it with hammers. You know, like in Mitchell and Webb.
